Laura Usher, Kinlin Grover Real Estate
Laura grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut and spent every summer on Cape Cod with her family. She has lived full-time in Brewster since 1989. Laura and her husband, Kevin, have three grown children.
Laura is a graduate of the Katharine Gibbs School in Boston and the Institut de Francais in France. She began her career working in sales and marketing for an international sporting goods company. She later worked in mortgage lending, real estate law, commercial property management and residential and resort sales and marketing. A passion for travel and a desire to know other cultures led her to the field of international real estate. After completing course work in Italy she received her designation as a Certified International Property Specialist and subsequently began working in Panama. Laura has continued to focus on emerging international real estate markets and the tremendous investment and lifestyle opportunities they offer.
A Realtor since 1993, Laura is dedicated to helping all of her sellers and buyers realize their home ownership dreams, whether they are first-time home buyers, second home buyers, foreign investors or retirees. She is experienced and knowledgeable with the Lower and Outer Cape real estate markets. Laura is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, the Cape Cod and Islands Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors International Council, the CCIM Commercial Real Estate Institute, the international Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), Leading Agents of the World and the Brewster Housing Partnership.
In addition to being a Certified International Property Specialist, Laura has been certified in Transnational Referrals by the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations and is an Accredited Buyer Representative. She is currently working toward obtaining her CCIM designation in commercial real estate.
Laura is a volunteer with Make-A-Wish Foundation, The French Cultural Center/Alliance Francaise, WGBH and the New England Center for Homeless Veterans.
